About Us

Texas-based LT Resources has been serving railroad and industrial markets throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico since 1995, supplying various types of track materials to our customer base.

Woman-owned and operated, LT Resources is focused on product development, market acceptance and consumer awareness of environmentally friendly products for the customers and industries we serve. Our strong desire to offer real solutions to our customers seeking long-lasting, eco-friendly products in markets traditionally dominated by treated wood products has been our driving force for over 15 years.

Our mission is to become the provider of choice for innovative, high-quality, cost-effective products that improve safety, protect the environment and positively affect our clients’ bottom line.

The company’s premier product is Endurance®-XL Composite Crossings – “The Next Generation of Highway-Rail Grade Crossings”. Endurance®-XL Composite Crossings are custom manufactured using a 100% recycled plastics engineered formulation to provide optimum strength in virtually all operating environments.

Related composite material products are available for use in conjunction with Endurance®-XL Composite Crossings.

Linda Thomas – President. Linda formed LT Resources in 1995. Prior to that time, she was part of the Koppers team, managing all aspects of inside sales activities for treated wood products including cross ties, switch ties, grade crossings, bridge material and utility poles in the Southwest and Midwest U.S. This experience shaped Linda’s knowledge of the industry and vision for the future. As President of LT Resources, Linda oversees all company operations, coordinates activities with manufacturers and is responsible for a designated sales territory and development of key customer accounts within her territory.

Jim Overfelt – Manager Sales & Marketing. Jim joined LT Resources in April 2008 as the company’s Sales & Marketing Manager for Highway-Rail Grade Crossings. As product manager, Jim works closely with LT Resources’ team members to coordinate marketing and sales activities including tradeshows, promotional materials, product training and field installations for Endurance®-XL Highway-Rail Grade Crossings throughout the United States and Canada. Jim is also responsible for a designated sales territory and development of key customer accounts within his territory.

Linda Gray – Vice President Business Development. Linda’s return to the rail industry occurred February 1, 2010 when she joined LT Resources in this newly created position. Linda has ten years experience in the railroad industry with Rail Management and Consulting and Affiliated Companies. Linda served as Assistant to the President, Corporate Secretary/ Treasurer, Controller, and Board of Directors member with Rail Management and Switching. Linda’s vast experience with Rail Management makes her the ideal team member to spearhead the company’s business development initiatives consistent with the company’s overall strategies. Linda is also responsible for a designated sales territory and development of key customer accounts within her territory.

Glenda Cochran – Sales Assistant. Glenda joined LT Resources in March 2007, and took over Sales Assistant responsibilities in September 2009. Glenda’s strong background in customer relations and organizational skills make her a valued team member.
